Kid Goku was amazing. Old Goku is a bit lame. I also really like Trunks.

To answer the question, though I've seen much more of DBZA then I have of the orginial series, I'd say Piccolo's my favourite, closely followed by Trunks and Vegeta

Speaking of which has anyone seen the new TFS series of Attack on Titan Abridged? I went in knowing little, and infact hadn't watched or read anything about AoT but thought it was hilarious, some of the best stuff they've done. Same thing with Hellsing, liked that a lot as well

EDIT: How could I forget DBZA Mr. Popo? Crazy funny, but creepy as hell. Thinking about it in DBZA he'd be near the top of my favourites as well...

Vegeta for me as he is the most interesting and dynamic character.

Vegetto. He's literally the perfect combination of Goku and Vegeta.

Unfortunately he only makes a very brief appearance in the show, so him aside I suppose I do have to say Piccolo. He's badass, but also intelligent and rational. Future Trunks is pretty cool too. The only Saiyan in the show who's smart enough to just finish off an opponent when he has the opportunity, instead of messing around and letting his foe power up.

Cell, then Vegeta.

Vegetto or Vegeta. I like Vegeta's character development a lot, and he has a lot of great moments and awesome attacks. Vegetto is so ridiculously over-powered that it just makes him so much better then everyone else. He beats down the most physically powerful villain in the series without any effort whatsoever. He's more smug than anyone and just trolls Super Boohan when they fight, it's a shame he didn't stick around longer.
