Forums - Nintendo Discussion - No More Heroes - what got you interested?

A lot of us are interested in this game. Some own it and some are going to buy it (hopefully a lot of us). But how and when did you hear about the game? And what made you interested? My story is, that one time at work, i was at some gaming site (can't remember what), reading some PS2 related news (i don't own PS2, but the news was interesting) and noticed a link to trailer, which i decided to watch it. Since i clicked the link while being in the PS2-section, i thought the game was going to be on PS2, which i thought was pity, since i definately wanted the game, but thought it was going to be on a platform i don't own and are not going to buy. Eventually, i figured out that the game was coming for Wii (and even as an exclusive, so the wouldn't be a bad port). And this is the trailer that really bought me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UXdh1qKHml Everything was just so perfect. As some of you may notice from the trailer, i have been waiting for the game for quite a while now -and still waiting, since it's not out yet in Europe. Discuss.

the initial trailer seemed cool. I liked the art style alot, and it just got better the more I learned.

Now that I own it, the end result is 100 times better than I expected. This game is so frikkin awesome.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

i heven't bought it yet but i plan on buying it as soon as a i beat DMC4. What made me want this game was the art design and the fact that the main character was using a sort of lightsaber.

As always, I first heard about it from StarcraftManiac. I got interested by seeing some vids and learning that the game was not so much like GTA as StarcraftManiac said (he used to describe it as 'GTA with lightsabers').

Considering your avatar, your opinion doesn't surprise me a bit. :)

My Games of 2011:

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Super Mario 3D Land

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

The name was what first caught my eye. It seemed like it would have an interesting setting and I wanted to see where they were going with it. After learning a bit more I really liked the general plot outline and the setting of the world in general. After playing it though I am a bit dissapointed. The boss battles and terrible mini-games you have to do between levels are very painful for me. The game rocks out when you are slaughtering the generic thugs by the dozens though.

Starcraft 2 ID: Gnizmo 229

I knew about it since it was announced just before E3 in 2006. So it's been on my most wanted list for awhile!

Absolutely loving the game! Everyone on here with a Wii should support the cause and pick it up! We need a sequel!

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.
