For the people talking about Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, personally, I liked the first one better simply because it had a bigger WOW factor and new and innovative motion controls.

Sure, Galaxy 2 might have been more polished, but it did not reach the wonder and mystery the original game did. Think of it as LBP 1 vs. LBP2.

(And for the record, I voted for Zelda: Twilight Princess)

Because Galaxy 2 has no chance of winning in this poll. The Last of Us must be stopped, you hear me.

Make a thread and ask which game Nintendo fans prefer between Galaxy 1 and Galaxy 2 and you'll see the majority voting for Galaxy 2 :D

Yeah, that's the feeling I'm getting right now. 28 for Galaxy 1 and 1 for Galaxy 2. Lol, that can't be what people think.

Just look at Uncharted 2, it is barely getting anything either. This is basic console BS war. Sad, because galaxy would have been my choice, but guess I will go with Tales of Vesperia.

My reasoning for it being Game of The Generation is it got me Sony-Nintendo guy, to purchase Xbox360 and actually enjoy that console for 3 years. 

Well I think a lot of the people that really liked Uncharted 2 also really liked TLoU, and TLoU is newer and arguably a fresher experience. SMG winning over SMG2 makes no sense to me, since SMG2 was supposed to be an improvement in most areas (hence the crazy high review scores)

Yeah it does seem a bit slanted. How there is one vote for SMG 2 (considering how much praise the second game gets) is baffling to me..

And I'm only one of two people here who actually prefered UC2 to TLoU o_O

UC3 > UC2

The sad thing is I really loved TLOU (and still do) but all the constnat TLOU is the best game ever go fuck yourself UC2, GTA V and other classic games just pisses me off.

This thread is just pure console war now...WTF? I'm sure the author had great intentions but now it got all messed up

I wouldn't call it messed up. I think what's happening here is that all those people who liked all action games in general picked their best among all the choices, and TLOU came up as that choice. On the other side of the fence, all those people who liked platformers and mario picked between Galaxy and Galaxy 2, and decided that Galaxy was better because it was more original.

I don't see any problem here. It's a reflection of what people like.
