Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Where are the release dates for Super Smash Bros U, X, Bayonetta 2, and Hyrule Warriors?

When are the release dates going to be revealed?

January Nintendo Direct 26 42.62%

Rumored January Nintendo Conference 11 18.03%

E3 16 26.23%

? 4 6.56%

Other 3 4.92%

Total:60

I want to know the release dates of the games I stated and many people ask this question everyday, "where are the release dates?" I'm currently waiting on release dates for SSBU, X, Hyrule Warriors, and Watch Dogs. They're all slated or this year, but that only helps slightly. What do you think?

all of them will be delay because is Nintendo

All of them have secretly been canceled

I wouldn't be surprised if all of them were coming 2015. You know when companies get desperate they announce a lot of stuff.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Well... Nintendo has always been hush hush about the release dates of all their games cause they never want to give out an unfinished game but with that being said, there is always a chance of delay but idk if Nintendo will want to delay Smash bros cause its such a big seller which is what they will need this year...

But I think in their next Nintendo direct, they might reveal the actual release dates

Next ND will give release dates for Mario Kart 8 and Bayonetta 2. Release dates for X, Hyrule Warriors, and Smash Bros will be given at E3.

Hyrule Warriors was announced like yesterday, lmao. Give it some time.

For the rest, though. I'm hoping they announce it next month the latest.

Hopefully Nintendo keeps a steady stream of 1st party games all year and spreads them out. They tried to give third parties a chance by holding back their big guns and it screwed them.

I want a new Metroid, Starfox, and Eternal Darkness bad...I am hoping to see at least one of these at E3 this year.

^This!

When Wii U is no longer "doomed", 3rd Parties will complain that Nintendo games won't allow their games to sell well.

Nintendo pretty consistently announces release dates around 2-3 months before the games release. So...it will all depend on when those games are ready, but I wouldn't get your hopes up for getting a whole slew of release date confirmations all at once. Yoshi's New Island just got a release date announcement all on its own because it comes out in a little over 2 months. If they do a Direct this month then it's likely we'll get Mario Kart 8's release date. If not, then it means MK8 won't come until April or later. If there's no Direct, same thing. MK8 will most likely be the next major release after Donkey Kong (at the end of February) from Nintendo for Wii U, so all those other games will probably be May or later. I strongly believe that Hyrule Warriors, X, Super Smash Bros, and Yarn Yoshi will all release in the 2nd half of 2014. Bayonetta 2 is a wildcard...that one COULD come out in the 1st half. We'll see.
