Forums - Gaming Discussion - Nintendo DS not on Weekly Hardware Chart this week

What does this mean? Is the DS offically discontinued now?

nice

I don't know if it's officially discontinued, but VGC officially discontinues tracking it week by week I think, same as with the PS2, they will adjust when they will get some official Nintendo sales data.

Thats a good decision imo, it was already sub 10k a couple of weeks, it's not worth the effort, and probably more of a guesswork since it's not stocked everywhere.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Would be kinda odd given that the last 2 weeks that it was recorded then would be a 26k week and just under 16k units. But I guess there is only so much room on the chart and so many systems.

It really doesn't matter. 3DS/2DS made DS obsolete.

I think this means that the 3DS has finally taken off. Took long enough.

I wonder whats the big push for the PSP still. Specially in Europe.

That system was labeled dead outside of japan like, 4 years ago ?

Europe has always been a fan of the psp, we even got a new Street model of it a while back, really budget thing with 1 mono speaker and no wifi. Costs under 100euros tho with a few games in most stores, really slick little matte design on it tho so doesn't sexually attract finger prints.
