Interesting tech with a lot of potential. Also underscores how poor MS relying on kinect is, stuff like this is the future, not kinect.

Is there a post you made on these boards that doesn't dis Microsoft in some way? I can't find a single one...

Brings the meaning of porn games to a whole new level

OR keeps getting praise in the media but i just can't see it being successful. it will probably be neat to try someday but can you really see the mass market actually buying one? ...i can't.

If you tried it I think you would change your tune, it is eye opening.

I cant wait to try it.

It will live or die with the amount of content. There are porn games in development so at least it will a financial success.
If it has any mass market appeal I don't know. Good marketing would be really helpful.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

The title says it all. I wouldn't have entered if you didn't tell me to.

OR is really really cool. This new version is sick!

Replace every occurrence of Occulus rift and VR with Kinect and Minority report controls and the whole statement sounds eerily familiar.
It all depends on whether games can be made that can be played comfortably on a VR headset for prolonged periods of time, that are much better than playing them the conventional way.

The positional tracking looks great, 1080p per eye is still low for 110 degree field of view but should be sufficient for a good experience. Now work on the game play.

Meh, I remember when everyone was raving about Kinect being the next big thing in gaming. I'll reserve any hype until I actually test one out.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
