Actually budget was 45m and the Box Office was 41m. So it almost broke even. Plus it has pretty impressive video sales of over 16m so the movie has made money.

Firstly, that's not how the box office works. Studios don't get 100% of the earnings, they usually get around half. Which means they only got around 17.5m out of the 35m. Also, where did you get that number? According to Box Office Mojo, the film earned 35m and cost 50m.

I'm just going by Karl Urban (Dredd) words here. He said, If fans want it then they have to be vocal.
Yeah I'm all for it, was a great movie.
If they make a Dredd sequel im sure they'll wait to see what The Raid 2: Berandal is about first lol
I liked it but it just didn't make enough money to justify a sequel anytime soon. Once they make a boatload of money on the two Mockingjay movies Lionsgate will probably have more then enough surplus cash in the bank to risk some of it on another Dredd movie.

It will probablay get a sequel eventually but not anytime soon so nothing until 2016 or later. Also I hope the script for the next one will be a bit more original since the first one is very similar to The Raid: Redemption.
