Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Pokemon Plus and Minus? If its for Wii U, its a game changer.

I just read he article on the side on the front page and if it is true then it sounds like Nintendo has finally decided to make a full fledged Pokemon Wii U game.  There is a mention of the Pokken Fighters teaser now being in its next phase, but why would that info just be thrown in to a Pokemon 3DS title's article.  On top of that is sounds like this Pokemon is going to be a massive MMO style game, which I really doubt the 3DS could handle.    Mario Kart and Smash Bros are no doubt going to give the Wii U alot of life and will boost sales, but a true Pokemon game has the potential to skyrocket the Wii U.   X & Y have not even been out for 3 months yet and is already the highest selling 3DS game at 9.25 million units.   Pokemon is the 3rd best selling franchise in gaming (other then GTA and COD), and since Nintendo cant have GTA, and COD doesnt sell well on the Wii U, Pokemon by far is Nintendos greatest asset these days.  For as much as I love Zelda, Metroid, and Kirby,  3 new games from those franchises combined on the Wii U would probebly be outsold by one single Pokemon Wii U game.

A Wii U Pokemon game will be great!

oh my gosh, pokemon colloseum was amazing on GC

A full fledged Pokemon RPG on WiiU, I'd buy the console for that.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Id buy it. The gamepad would work great for it. To be honest Pokemon feels better on handhelds but if it has the same format as the traditional pokemon then I would buy it regardless.

Plus and Minus still sounds fake but I do hope they make a WiiU game. It needs it. I had a theory a while ago about Pokemon Z being for WiiU http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=152522

We all know they always make a 3rd pokemon game eventually and I know this is doubtful but hear me out.

X and Y is longitude and latitude. Which is Horizonal and Vertical correct. This signifies the change in the series. One meaning top down view while the other....>Do you see where I'm going with this?

But wait isn't their a third dimension? Yes you are right. It would be Z which means forward/backward. From the sounds of it looking forward to the TV and then back at the gamepad......Yes a long shot but I wanted to hear your guys opinions on it.

EDIT: just so you know I'd prefer it to stay on handhelds as i dont think pokemon works on home consoles besides Pokemon Snap.

It won't be for Wii U.
Nintendo will spread Wii U's exclusives to the 3DS, but god forbid they throw Wii U a similar bone.
It's like they WANT Wii U to fail.

I'd love a Pokemon Snap U. And I had similar thoughts on Z.

All this talking about Pokemon is giving me the urge to play Pokemon XY again.  Id prefer not to get into that addiction again lol  Pokemon is probably my all time favorite gaming franchise.  NOt sure what it is about this franchise but i gt drawn in everytime.

I would love a fully open world awesomesauce pokemon game for my Wii U!! If any game would sell Wii U it would be pokemon. Would be huge for nintendo.

I don't buy a single word of this rumor. Not for a second. Leaks from GameFreak? Not months, but years in advance of release? Hahahahaha.
