Yakuza, Dragon's Dogma (F2P), FFXIV (upgrade for free). Possibly DW (although I doubt it).

It's worth noting that PSV launched with 320k in Japan and its highest selling game was Hot Shots Golf with about 55k sold. WiiU launched with 310k and had MH and Mario above 100k.

It should be obvious by now that the PS4 launch lineup doesn't matter much for its sales. It's selling really well for being affordable, flexible and the most powerful system. PLUS, the warm feeling you get when you know for a fact that it'll get game support for years.

I doubt that.

That's like saying the PS4 would have sold the same amount of units without CoD: Ghosts, Killzone SW, Battlefield 4, Fifa 14 and AC4 at launch.

Q1 is way too early unless people believe that ps4 can pull out 200k+ weeks for the whole quarter. I also highly doubt that Japan is going to play that big of a role in terms of sales (except the launch week which should be around 400-500k). My bet is going to be early-late summer.



Predictions for LT console sales:

PS4: 120M

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M

Vita: 13M

I'll be different and go 2015. The tag team of DK, Mario Kart, and Super Smash Bros will be enough to keep the Wii U in front until next year.

I'd say Q1 or Q2 of 2014, but I'm not sure. I won't underestimate the power of DKC and MK8 to move units, but Sony does have Driveclub and Infamous...and personally I will be picking up the Infamous bundle around launch.

im confident it will do it by april, but i'll be bold and say sometime in march for the thread

 

actually just sold my PS4 on CL with Ghost for $550 for a $55 profit within hrs of posting, plan on rebuying agian when more SW comes out thought id take advantge of the demand
