Tomorrow in my area it's supposed to only reach 21°F (-6°C).  Definitely not the coldest in the country, but still pretty chilly.

Savage. I had to drive back to my parents' tonight because i'm working tomorrow and the internet's out in my rental room near grad school (my landlord, who also lives there, said he's going to call a new ISP. He's as fed up with it as I am), and it was insane. If I didn't have my car's blower on, i started to shiver (whereas usually once it gets warm enough, it stays warm enough).

Edit: No snow though (Western PA). The roads were almost a hundred percent clear, it's just really really cold.

I'm just glad I got a 730 amp battery and a remote starter, or else I would've worked from home like 90% of my team did. I'll see how many WFH emails there are in the morning. If there are a lot like today, I'm staying in my pajamas.

Side note: This is the first time in 17 years that public schools were closed statewide here in MN.

I live in the okc,were the weather changes every 5 minutues. The state takes it from all sides. lol

We heard these loud banging noises all evening and into last night, sometimes shaking the whole house. It turns out those are mini ice quakes, since it went from +0c raining to -26c in a 12 hour period. Underground puddles freezing and expanding in the frozen ground.
Currently the river is smoking and the fog is crystallizing when it's blown up and away. -22c atm, high winds, sun is out. Recommended to stay indoors with windchill down to -35c.

Still not cold enough to try this though

Weather is going crazy at the moment.
+18°C in Germany in early January is insane. Not a single snowy day this winter so far.

 Meanwhile in Europe the weather is frickin awesome.

Heh, the pipes ended up freezing in my new rental home, or at least some of them did. Came home and all the water was off, so i went and found the main and turned it back on. Quite fortunately it wasn't bad enough that the pipes burst when i did that, as the landlord later came back and explained. We managed to get it working again in short order, however.

After the extreme cold, it's currently +2c and tonight the rain will start until Sunday, 20mm incoming at +5c. It's going to be a huge mess when everything melts. Flood warnings etc. Coming Tuesday it's going to freeze again.

And i'm just sitting here in Jamaica hot as ever... >.
