PS4 sold > 600,000 units this week,but there are no PS4 titles in the top 10 of the latest VGChartz graph, only PS3 and 360  titles ( with individual ps3 or 360 titles selling lower figures than 600,000 ) ?

Did these people just buy consoles  or buy a massively thin spread set of software - but there are only a few titles out for PS4

seems wrong

1.PS4 being overtrack

2.PS4 games being undertrack

3.People aren't buying any PS4 games

4.People are mainly going digital with the PS4

its got to be one of these

1,404,805 SW units sold for 655,970 units of HW sold with a total install base of 3.5m.

Seems totally fine to me. It's just that SW units are more spread out than with, say, WiiU and SM3DW, so there is no one title that cracks the top 10.

It can be the software was already accounted for. Many of these purchases were pre-orders afterall.

Are you talking about worldwide charts etc?

UK wise upto 28th Dec the PS4 charts are as follows:

So as you can see from the UK most of them are multi platform, so individually are harder to track.

If we look at the UK charts for the week ending 28th - it's as follows for these titles:

6. NFSpeed

16. Knack
33. NBA2K
37. Injustice

So would say they are definitely selling, just it's clouded by the fact that many of the PS4 launch games are multi platform. Expect the same problem to be seen in worldwide charts.

This shows to me that last gen still has very strong legs, and i suspect some discounts on consoles and some of the games have pushed last gen back up again... games companies will need to be very careful, otherwise they are stealing sales from their next gen consoles.

Well there are no Xbone games in the top 10 either so its just that not enough people are buying the yet because the consoles just came out. The highest PS4 game is Fifa 14 at number 17, so its not like the PS4 has no games in the best selling list at all.

I fid it strange because in the Uk you can not get a PS4 without having at least 4 games bundled with it over the last 2 weeks of the year. I dot know if it was like that elsewhere in the world but its room for thought.

Im not sure if digital gets tracked or not, but I would bet on that if they dont.

There also hasnt been much of anything since launch to come out for either system. I have been playing on my ps3 more lately as well until at least tomb raider comes out.

well the PS3 and 360 have a much bigger install base, so it makes sense for games to sell more on them than PS4 and xb1. and the other two WiiU games are bundled with every system sold.
