Simple, both those games were done, and people wanted money back from them. Some games are not worth keeping around.....

no surprise, they're both awful games

That's simply not true if I read you correctly. Nintendo first party games are generally much harder to find in stores under the "used" shelf, wheras Sony and MS first party games are far more often available in the used section. Companies like Nintendo (and there are others) are of such charming quality that people never want to resell them again, whereas companies like Sony and Microsoft which sell games that often times (not always by the way) feel heartless and less than charmful have a lot of used games in stores. I hardly ever see used first party Nintendo games in stores. People keep those games.

Dat anecdotal evidence.

The alternative hypothesis is that children and families (Ninty's primary demographic) are far less picky than Sony or MS's audience. But I'm sure you prefer the sound of the way you're spinning it, don't you?

The fact is, we don't know the trade in frequency for any of the big 3's games. And even if your anecdotal testimony does apply on a broader scale, we don't know why that is. Making up reasons because you'd like them to be true is childish.

Games selling more are trade in more, what a surprise

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Nintendo has less games traded in because there is far less competition on their console. Why would you trade most of their games in when there isn't much else in the genre that is any good? Compare that to MS and Sony, virtually all of their AAA games have tons of competition.

Look at all the "high quality" games that people don't want

What does this even mean?  Why would anyone say that when just about every game you can mention is being re-sold somewhere?

I'm honestly puzzled by this.

Not true at all. They are probably more harder to find in the used shelf due to the audiences they entertain (children under 13 and casual gamers) Children under 13 are less likely to return games as they are less intrested in those features of game stores and feel its not worth giving up there game. However hardcore gamers and PS/XB gamers usally give it up as they purchase many video games for their specific consoles and casual gamers only purchase 1 or 2 per year therefore there is no reason to give up on the games.

I hope you don't think your going to draw me into a name calling fight. I won't disrespect your view by calling it childish like you have mine. I'm an adult and have an opinion. It may be wrong, but it's my opinion currently. Calling me childish for having an opinion that differs with yours isn't respectful.

It is no surprise since KZ:S is selling faster then KZ2 and KZ3, yet is critically speaking, inferior to the two.

People buy the game and realize it didn't live up to the hype. Ryse speaks for itself: people bought it for the badassery but again the flaws show.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I never called you childish. I said that making up stories and passing them off as reality because you'd like them to be true is a childish behavior. Just because the action you took in that instance is something I would call childish doesn't mean that extends to your entire personality. I have no issue with you having any opinion until you start passing it off as fact.

Anyhow, if that's the only thing you really have a response for in my post then that kind of proves my point.

marketing.    sony clearly courted the "used game" gamers while MS told them to "fuck off"
