I think it says more about the people who play them than the games itself.

Maybe PS4 gamers don't have much money. Hence they chose the cheaper system ;)

Knack > Killzone: SF confirmed.

Maybe they did buy those first and then realized it's hard to play KZ:SF and Knack on them. Actually that could be the reason why they traded them^^

Also you should do something against that cough. Sounds rough.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Right now I have Killzone, BF4, and AC4 as my PS4 physical games. I would be surprised if any of them are still in my possession in a year. I only keep the best of the best. Killzone 2 is the only Killzone to warrant that honor. Infamous will be the first PS4 game to get that honor (I love that series and would be SHOCKED if Second Son isn't amazing). I just don't keep online centric games and KZ's SP isn't enough to make me keep it. AC4 has a chance and I haven't played it yet but for one reason or another I always end up selling AC games and I've bought every single one in the past. Battlefield I haven't even had a chance to get to yet because I'm too busy enjoying the hell out of Batman Arkham Origins right now (best game in the series) and still have Ratchet, Contrast, and KH1 to get through.

It's a combination of all of them, I think.

The PS4 launch titles were okay at best, so people didn't feel deeply attached to them once they were finished. This is especially true with bundles that retailers forced on them to take advantage of low stock and high demand. Between that and the PS4 selling more, it makes sense that people are sending their shit back in--the honeymoon period with next-gen ends pretty quickly once the boxes are in people's hands. And these new consoles didn't exactly have Dreamcast-level launch line-ups.

I held off on buying a new console specifically to avoid this problem. I expect a lot of PS4s (and Xones for that matter) will be sitting idle between now and March.

I don't trade in games but I can understand why these two have been traded in. Ryse is alright, it is an extremely short game that offers almost no replay value. Killzone was just blah didn't really feel special or next gen to me, I probably should give it another try but I'm having too much fun playing AC4!!!!

I traded in Ryse for $40 (I paid $50). I don't see myself playing through it again and multiplayer didn't impress me.

Killzone sold well so that means there are more copies to be traded in. I'm reading few people are actually playing that game online.

I personally believe that the forced bundles made get games they never were going to play and the result is they didn't and return for 40 pounds they were going to use on Call of Duty.

You presume there were a significant numbers of forced bundles sold.

Ryse has little value after you complete the campaign. As for Killzone, people could be trading it in for other shooters.

in all my years gaming Sony and Xbox games have always had a huge second hand market. Nintendo console games you hardly see any second hand games (wii being the exception with all the shovleware it had).

my personal view is that majority Sony and Microsoft gamers don't collect games or are too poor so they need to trade in once they have played it.
