Nintendo kicks ass, what do you expect
As an owner or last gen consoles and wii u (but not ps4 or xbox one yet) I like to think I'm unbiased and say it as it is but I'm sure I have some bias. I just don't see the point of loyalty to any of these console companies or the hardware itself.
The sales figures I have seen for wii u games and consoles have been very low by Nintendo standards but surprisingly despite owning a wii u I'm not compelled to defend them in anyway. Here in Europe the wii u is really struggling to get a foothold. When the early ps3 games were crap compared to 360 I said they were crap and when I went through repeated 360 consoles needing repair I complained about it. Where a game is exceptionally good on any console I state how great it is. Just don't see the point at all of this fanboy nonsense. Just try to keep to the facts, good or bad.

If that's the consensus you see on this website, then I honestly have no idea what to say to you.

Because that was the unthinkable part. 3D Mario outselling any platformer (especially a new IP that wasn't reviewed well) should be the standard.

You mean that the game bundled with a significant portion of PS4s is getting a high "sales" rate when the PS4 is constantly sold out as units become available? And we're to expect Mario to then outsell it in a country where half the retailers have stopped carrying the Wii U and its games?
It's funny how the same person can point to bundling and the status of PS4 availability to justify their belief that Knack is undertracked, and then argue that the game should have poor sales on the basis of being a new IP platformer with bad reviews. Cognitive dissonance, I guess.

lol this.
I don't think we Nintendo gamers should worry so much about comparative sales numbers. Do Porche owners worry about whether they outsell Toyota? Of course not, we already know that we have the superior product :).
