I don't think it will because it doesn't have a "Wii Sports" or something new like motion controls.
Sales won't be consistent enough. The PS4 hasn't launched in Japan yet either so it might stay ahead for a while but not too long.
everything seems so wrong. i thought and many people wanted to believe that the WII U would be the mirror of the next gen sales. now what? upss i forgot we have to wait until next year

Yeah, I expect it to fall behind within the next month or two. I don't see it having the sustained year-round demand of the Wii without that kind of must-have title.
it makes no sense why so many are buying it. I mean all this for better grapix and no games in the top 10?

But it have relatively low price with super graphics. And don't forget that trends are always changing. What was true one year ago isn't assured to be once again.

Wii sold 16'553 mill in 2007...., around 318k per week. Can reach PS4 that level in 2014????
I think is possible, but, what it'll be really difficult would be after that....... 24'1 million Wii sold in 2008 (around 463k per week). To beat that PS4 should sell around 500k per week....that's a lot, even for the now almighty PS4. To reach those numbers PS4 will need Japan's help, and i don't see the people of Japan very interested in home consoles anymore....
