How could that be if the game is supposed to be released on ALL consoles? Wouldn't be very exclusive at that point, would it?


THQ the publisher went under if you remember which means the studio was left to do things on their own like funding and had no publisher, Bayonetta 2 was a multiplatform title at one point but no one wanted to fund it so it got cancelled until Nintendo stepped in, Devil's Third fits the description and situation, it being multiplatform before doesn't mean anything as situations can change.

I know what you are saying but Bayonetta 2 was a different case. There were never any announcements that it was going to go to other platforms, only Wii U. Devil's Third on the other hand was announced for everything BUT a Nintendo console...

See where I am going with this... Not trying to be a dick or anything, just trying to understand people's reasoning of the game potentially being The Devil's Third and yes, I bought Darksiders 2 for my Wii U, I know that THQ is no longer around...

It doesn't matter, in the case where your publisher goes under things can change heavily, to further highlight how announcements can be Monster Hunter was announced as a PS3 game before it was launched then jumped onto Nintendo platforms, Bayonetta 2 was confirmed to be multiplatform before it was cancelled by PG themselves a lack of announcement doesn't change this. Announcments mean nothing when circumstances force things it's nothing new, it's clear the game is in limbo.

It is possible since THQ went under and Nintendo may have took chance to fund them and turn it into Wii U exclusive, Bayonetta 2 was planned for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 yet nobody wanted it to be funded and Nintendo stepped in and turned it into Wii U exclusive which for both them and Nintendo in the long run.

I think Nintendo has a three game deal with Sega, we got Bayonetta 2 and Sonic Lost World. We don't know the third game and it could be anything, I wish Nintendo asked for Crazy Taxi :D

I would agree with you except you could be wrong, think about it... Did Platinum Games planned Bayonetta 2 to be Wii U exclusive in the first place? No, it was planned for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 yet they could not find the publisher and Nintendo stepped in. Now look at Devil's Third, it is planned for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows(PC) and THQ was the publisher and now that THQ is bankrupt they don't have a publisher anymore... They probably by now asked several publishers also probably including Microsoft and Sony, what if they also declined too like they did with Platinum Games and then Nintendo stepped it?

Just because their original plans were for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows does not mean that plans can't be changed at all also the game engine that is being used is the same engine that is used for Darksiders 2 that got a relatively bad port on Wii U since it was on extremely low budget as it was done in last days/months of THQ. They already have some basis to work on, the engine is up and running on Wii U thanks to 4-6 man team that ported Darksiders 2 to Wii U which is stronger than Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 plus easier to program for and I know that there will be a certain immature individual provoking me after this statement...

Same here. Make the world one big sandbox instead of  unconnected regions, balance the difficulty and nerf the gamebreaking moves, and make going from fighting to not-fighting completely seamless. They do all that, and I preorder the crap out of that game.

not gonna get my hopes up.

But would love a FPS.

Unreal Tournament (or something similar futuristic scifi) would be nice. but I guess I cna always relive the old one on steam lol.

I hope is devils third, but maybe it was cool to see a much bigger project, dont get me wrong devils third is a game that i really want to play, but i think its a game that will not give that boost that the console needs.


Like other people said nintendo could go to sega closet to see some ip to bring back
but if is a miracle to be a shenmue game than the internet will become a really dangerous place lol
