3DS: 80-90mil, Wii U: ~20-25mil and PS4 105-115mil

Yes, I see the 3DS dropping fast in the next couple years.

But I want to emphasize this once again, I'm nowhere near close to 100% sure about this prediction, it's just a feeling that I got.

The 3DS LTD might pass the  PS3 LTD by itself,  with low Wii U LTD together the 3DS it should pass the PS3 with no problem.

3DS should sell 90-95 million and the Wii U should sell 25-30 million. 115-125 million total. PS4 will never reach those numbers.

Will never happen,already seeing demand die for ps4 and xbox one after christmas both been in stock for days at local walmart! Never during ps2 and wii launches did the consoles become so readly available the days after christmas,those two 100 million selling consoles were sold out well into mid next year of there launch with every shipment being snatch up with lines waiting for the trucks to unload. The demand isn't the same for the ps4 cant even sell for the profit that they did on ebay on launch.And next year it will have a similar drought like wii u without big hitters to sell more consoles, second son is the biggest thing coming out in the coming months not really a console seller.People are getting too swept up in launch hype and are over thinking the demand next year will tell us alot about all consoles futures.

PS4 will probably do 100 million like PS1. Your prediction is a bit too ambitious i think.

However, the majority of gamers will own both PS4 and 3DS i think.

I agree that handheld gaming, in general, has declined considerably so it might be possible that the 3DS sales stagnate at around 80m. The Wii U will do at the very least 40m (hopefully) so at 120m, it would be pretty difficult for the PS4 to beat that.

I don't agree that the 3DS will outsell the PS4 as some users have suggested. I say this because of the decline in the handheld market and the fact that there has been no evidence to suggest that console gaming will/has declined.

Before launch, looking at the games line up of the PS4 I would have said no. Now though, it seems to be selling out on massive hype alone. It's off to a cracking start so I'm going to say possible.
