For me is hard to choose one, i like action,comedy,drama,romance,fantasy and slice of life, if i have to choose one, i have to go with...........

I am going to say action/ martial arts, because my favorite anime series ever ( YuYu Hakusho and Dragon Ball Z) belong to that genre.

I tend to lean towards the fantasy, slice of life-esque stuff. Clannad and Air (see avatar) being longtime favorite. Still, some darker ones can be great; Evangelion and Welcome to the NHK are still two of the best series ever made (alongside others), in my opinion.

Sci-Fi i guess since that's the genre most anime movies and shows I enjoy fall under, with action/martial arts/fantasy thrown into the mix too.
