For Q1 of 2014, it has:

Tomb Raider: DE
Thief
Rayman Legends
Infamous: SS
Drive Club
Planetside 2

For Q2:

FF14
Watch Dogs
The Witness
Lego: The Hobbit
Dynasty Warrioirs 8
MGS: Ground Zeroes
UFC 14
Elder Scrolls Online
MLB 14

Q3:

Destiny
Dragon Age: Inquisition
The Crew
FIFA 14
The Order: 1886

That will bring us back to Q4, which will see the next COD and Assassin's Creed.  Plus, there are plenty of Sony studios that we have no idea what they are working on, or their release dates.  Some of which will most likely be llate 2014 or early 2015.  I also didn't even mention all the indie games releasing on PSN that will draw in people, as well.

As you can see, there isn't going to be a game drought for the PS4 any time soon, if ever.  And those games are appealing to a varied audience, so demand should lower, but still remain above the Xbox One and Wii U for quite some time.

The Order is not confirmed for 2014 so I wouldn't put that on the list.

They said they were shooting for Spring 2014.  They may miss that date, but I would only imagine by a month or so, so still a 2014 release.  Even if you take it off the list, that's still a damn good year for the PS4.  Much better than the Wii U's 2nd year, which saw a bad game drought for most of the year.

I know it's a little bit off topic, but did you guys notice that apart from SM3DW there's no 8th gen game in top 10 for last two weeks?

As Seece pointed out, that's definitely overtracked, too.  SM3DW did 215K for it's launch month (Nov) in the US, which includes digital sales, too.  So, it's definitely less than 200k retail for Nov.  It selling 131K in just one week for Dec make no sense whatsoever.

Weak argument is weak. It did 100k FW in Japan and yet, it sold almost 90k just last week. Holiday sales always boost tremendously the sales of Nintendo products. Just look at the wiiU, it was selling an average of 2-3k in Japan, now it's selling 100k+.

Now obviously, you might be right that it's overtracked. But that doesn't mean your argument is correct either. You and Seece are just pointing out stuff without any proof whatsoever.

We could be wrong.  I'm not denying that.  Of course, you are looking at Japan.  Just because it rises, doesn't mean NA will.  Just like if it rises in NA, that doesn't mean it will rise in Japan.  Take Wii U and PS3 HW, for example.  November in the US is a huge shopping month, where sales increase exponentially compared to Oct.  Now the Wii U, a 1 year old console, only rose 160K over Oct (~60K).  That comes out to an increase of just 40K a week.  The PS3, a 7 year old console, rose 290K over Oct (~120K).  Or an increase of 70K per week.

If you look at Japan, however, the PS3 has risen in Dec (when Japan's shopping starts), but is only hovering ~25K.  The Wii U, however, has risen from ~30K at the end of Nov to ~100K just last week.  In other words, the Wii U is going to do fine in Japan, especially during the holidays.  But, its not setting the rest of the world on fire.  Nor is its SW sales.

The Order is not coming out in the Sping of 2014. That time of year is stacked as it is. Most likely Fall 2014 or Spring 2015

I agree that they are 2 completely different markets and consoles/sw have different sales curve. But, were still in the biggest month of sales in the US, which means that it could be very possible that 3D world is selling just as much as it's FW sales. I mean, it makes sense going with Vg hardware sales. The wiiU sold 110k units while the game sold 135k. SM3DW is the biggest title of this holiday so it wouldn't surprise me at all if most wiiU buyers are picking up that game with their console. Also, there was still a good number of U owners that still had not purchased the game and were perhaps waiting to purchase it for the christmas period.

All im trying to say is, these numbers are far from impossible. We'll just have to wait for NPD numbers in January to know for sure. But these sales numbers didn't look unrealistic at all to me.

Predictions for LT console sales:

PS4: 120M

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M

Vita: 13M

It is obvious it isn't coming spring 2014. They haven't shown or talked anything about that game since E3. Fall 2014 at the earliest.

Untrue. They talked a lot about the game since e3 and shared screenshot with GameInformer, and according to your logic, Xbox One will have no exclusive games until fall 2014 except Quantum Break maybe, Halo , Fable Legends, Sunset Overdrive,... arent coming before fall 2014

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Cant believe Msoft didnt realize Xbox360 beat PS3 because of the pricetag. since both offer pretty much the same product, this is killing X1 vs PS4 in its own land...which shows the incompetence of Msoft
to release the console at a 25% higher pricetag is making them loose marketshare they might not be able to regain in the future

They only beat them in US and UK, with a full year advantage and price advantage , and yet, Sony beat them everywhere else, knowing that, the winner of this generation is obvious.

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

For Q1 of 2014, it has:

Tomb Raider: DE Late port  You mean like Wind Waker? Remind me again, didnt all the Nintendo crew get really excited about Wind Waker back this year? Did you also dismiss it as just a ''late port'' ?

Thief No one cares You not knowing anything about the franchise does not mean no one cares. Its one of the better 'true' stealth games, and its very well recieved among the customers and cirtics

Rayman Legends Wrong demographic What? What a dumb argument.
Infamous: SS No one cares        LMAO! Are you for real? Its easly the most hyiped and recognized PS4 title so far. Core franchises actually end up selling better on next gen systems, so this could end up being biggest inFamous title yet.

Drive Club Covere  1080p, possible 60FPS, first true next gen racing for PS4
Planetside 2 Free-to-play, late port Does being F2P somehow makes it a non-game? Its one of the more popular PC multiplayer shooters and its being remade for PS4.

For Q2:

FF14 Late port  So was Wind Waker. Or did that not count?

Watch Dogs Unknown. No sales history to say whether eople will actually buy it. People on here are hyped... but they were also hyped for Pikmin 3 it was one of the most pre ordered next gen games, and it probably the most wanted PS4 bundle before it got delayed. For a new IP, it'll sell amazingly well

The Witness Indie Pathetic, you are trying too hard
Lego: The Hobbit Wrong demographic  Same as above

Dynasty Warrioirs 8 lol LOL !

MGS: Ground Zeroes Demo Actually, its a full game as a matter of fact
UFC 14 OK
Elder Scrolls Online $15/month MMOs do not work  They dont? Please enlighten me as to why is it so.
MLB 14 OK

Q3:

Destiny Same as WD  You mean one of the most hyped FPS games made by the most succesfull FPS developer?
Dragon Age: Inquisition No one cares Dragon Age (the original) was one of the highest rated RPGs of the last gen
The Crew Definitely no one cares One of the best next gen games who won multiple E3 rewards. Yup, no one defintely cares.
FIFA 14 Already on PS4 I think FIFA15 was meant to be there
The Order: 1886  Same as WD Already covered

Anyone who wants a $400 PS4 for CoD and AC already wants one now.

Yeah its not like there is a massive supply shortage going on right now...

I don't believe them.

Well, gee, i guess if you dont believe them, its all wrong

Indie games don't make anyone outside GAF buy a PS4.

They still make a system's library significatly better

Yes, I did.

Thief No one cares You not knowing anything about the franchise does not mean no one cares. Its one of the better 'true' stealth games, and its very well recieved among the customers and cirtics

Well recieved is meaningless.

I don't think it will sell on consoles. It may sell on PC.

Rayman Legends Wrong demographic What? What a dumb argument.

Imagine if the Wii U had 50 extra FPS and football  games. Would that make Xbox owners buy it? No.

Similarly, children's games don't affect PS4's demand.

Infamous: SS No one cares        LMAO! Are you for real? Its easly the most hyiped and recognized PS4 title so far. Core franchises actually end up selling better on next gen systems, so this could end up being biggest inFamous title yet.

It will bomb. Come on.

Drive Club Covere  1080p, possible 60FPS, first true next gen racing for PS4

I said covered. I discussed it earlier.

Planetside 2 Free-to-play, late port Does being F2P somehow makes it a non-game? Its one of the more popular PC multiplayer shooters and its being remade for PS4.

For Q2:

FF14 Late port  So was Wind Waker. Or did that not count?

WW was also a terrible idea.

Nothing about this game suggests it will sell except when Sony no doubt gives it away for free.

Lego: The Hobbit Wrong demographic  Same as above

Dynasty Warrioirs 8 lol LOL !

MGS: Ground Zeroes Demo Actually, its a full game as a matter of fact

No, it isn't.

UFC 14 OK
Elder Scrolls Online $15/month MMOs do not work  They dont? Please enlighten me as to why is it so.

Because it doesn't have Warcraft in the title.

MLB 14 OK

Q3:

Destiny Same as WD  You mean one of the most hyped FPS games made by the most succesfull FPS developer?

Hyped by hardcore gamers, who we have established don't actually buy games. See all the hyped PS3, Vita and Wii U exclusives that failed to go anywhere.

Dragon Age: Inquisition No one cares Dragon Age (the original) was one of the highest rated RPGs of the last gen

Critical reception is unrelated to sales.

The Crew Definitely no one cares One of the best next gen games who won multiple E3 rewards. Yup, no one defintely cares.

Critical reception is unrelated to sales.

FIFA 14 Already on PS4 I think FIFA15 was meant to be there

I mean FIFA buyers already have a PS4

Anyone who wants a $400 PS4 for CoD and AC already wants one now.

Yeah its not like there is a massive supply shortage going on right now...

Read my actual argument this is based on. I'm saying the current demand is a fixed number and as soon as it's met demand will fall rapidly.

Well, gee, i guess if you dont believe them, its all wrong

I cannot argue against imaginary games that may or may not exist.

They still make a system's library significatly better

Sadly, this is about hardware sales and not quality
