I have no idea how NPD works, having only met a very few GfK statisticians. So I simply replaced GfK with NPD in my arguments. If NPD really works as you seem to have experienced, that would not shed a good light (unless you unluckily met "doormen type" people..)

I dont know if you see people, but there are new adjustments :

PS4 : 312k > 331k > 374k now

So after 2 adjustments, Vg chart added 62k to the initial numbers, and i have the feeling it's not everything yet.

So it's easy to see why a lot here think PS4 is obviously understracked

I'm somewhat uneasy to see weekly numbers that correspond to 150% weekly mamufacturing capacity. This number would also indicate Sony is past 3mio units before Xmas..

Holy shit the PS4 is undertracted. If those numbers are right then Sony f'ed up their unit allocations or the brand is extremely weak in the USA.
