but it could mean that..... you have no evidence to say otherwise.

please stop quoting your opinion as fact and constantly ridiculing other posters.

Sony is shipping right now to every countrie where the PS4 was launched... they didn't reach the preorders yet because that new preorders are being made for 2014 in a lot of countries.

I really hope that is true because over here we have no shipments for 2-3 weeks and the next shipment includes my pre order =p.

I'm not responding to you any more in this thread. You have ridiculed lots of posters, called their posts shit and inferred a few posters are stupid. Not acceptable.

What? I'm being serious.

More launch countries = more units sold... it is impossible to sell nothing in a launch countries that has the preorder sold until 2014... so if you launch in these countries you have more sales.

It is not hard to undertand the obvious.

Edit - PS4 got adjusted up... now Oceania + LA + Mid-East + Asia = 33k

119000 corresponds to next week japanese sales. (15 to 21 I believe)

Calling it now: NPD will show yet again that WiiU+3DS are being overtracked in the US.
Everything else is still a mystery

why? WiiU was pretty much spot on in november and 3ds numbers are down by a lot yoy (if I remember correctly).

Wii U is sightly over tracked It sold 107000 units in Usa by mediacreate

Which retail in UK? Amazon.co.uk received a little shipment last week.

Oh god.

I have 1m units to sell.

If I choose 5 countries to sell them in or 10 countries to sell them in.... I still have only 1m units.

Oh god.

I have sold X million in 32 countries in a week.

I add more 11 countries in the next week and that means 0 sales for these countries? Sony had launched a console in a country not shipping any unit?

I'm starting to think you are not that smart like I thought

Didn't Sony sell around a half million PS4's in Asia? For Kowen's logic to be correct, the combined sales from NA, Europe, and Asia would only be approximately 2.1 million (going by Sony's official number from the beginning of December). However, those 2.1 million sales were in only NA and Europe, so that logic is incorrect. We can strongly infer that Sony was saving units for territories outside of NA and Europe and is doing so for Japan, too.

I'm not suggesting either of you are incorrect regarding your numbers but if you are producing a static volume of units each week and launch into new territories, you still only have the same volume produced as the previous weeks...they are just distributed across a greater market.

Shipping 0 units to the new markets would only work if you kept your current market shipments equal to the previous weeks' shipments.   Reducing shipments to current markets would allow you to allocate them to the new markets without increasing overall production.

Whether they boosted production or simply adjusted their allocations, we may not know.  But either scenario is equally plausible.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

Just a question but, which Asian country is getting 500k shipped to it? Korea is the 17th,Hong kong is 17th, Malayasia is 20th, Singapore is 19th, Taiwan is 18th, Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia aren't out yet. Which asian country is getting 500k before the 15th?
