I believe so. Every thursday they have new games usually indie and virtual console. And lately they've put sales one different games every week. I've picked up quite a few games for $1.99 the last few weeks.... toki tori, rush and edge were $1.99. I think they might have some holiday specials tomorrow, the game I'm looking to buy tomorrow is Castlestorm.

I'm using the Eshop right now (mind you it's the Canada Eshop). Although it's extremely slow...it takes like 3 minutes to move between pages.

in euroland on the 3ds just goes to the signing in portion for the NNid and after about 30 secs just says come back later.

Bit annoying, but I guess it's good news for Nintendo selling a shit load of systems on Christmas. More people for us to street pass in 2014 :)
