Great numbers for Wii U, not so good for 3DS. Why? Because it will ultimately sell less YTD than last year.....and that's with releases of Pokemon and Monster Hunter....kinda unacceptable.

Congrats to Nintendo and all of their fans!

Hopefully Nintendo can prove me wrong about WiiU (I have so far been a doomsayer, would really like to eat my own words :)) and make it succesful, we really, really need someone like Nintendo in the market, since they are for alot of people the very definition av gaming.

Anyone who has a year end prediction of the Wii U reaching around 5.5 - 6 million ltd by Jan 1st have already factored in the Wii U selling a full one million units ww in the last two weeks leading up to Christmas. It's going to be the continued demand going into 2014 that will be important for Wii U to have any success.

Indeed. By Media Create's numbers it only needs to sell over 1.6M next week to do it. If it doesn't it'll be a major flop of epic proportions.
