There's no reason to believe that Nintendo is going beyond 720p. None of their first party software is 1080p, and none of the screens for this game are above 720p. In fact, if you view the screens in this thread at full size, the beauty disintegrates when everything is covered in jaggies. Outstanding art style, but low resolution.

Probably not, will look good regardless. After playing 720p Sonic Lost worlds and 1080p Wind Waker HD on a large LED I've come to the conclusion 720p with good AA and 60fps is more than enough for these kind of games.
I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.
The NX will be a 900p machine
