Yeah it'll do just fine and the war between PS and XB will be closer than it has ever been all along this Gen... And the winner is far from locked yet...

I believe the xbone will do worse than the 360.

Without the huge backing of America the xbone is going to struggle.

xbox one has probably sold about 2 million and is probably ahead of ps3 in USA right now. id say america has its back unless you think ps4 is doomed?

o not at all. I just dont believe both consoles can do 360 like numbers at the same time in North America.

Okay, Xbox One is 12k below the 60K barrier this week. Is everything still going according to plan and won't have any problems selling those 15M before 2015, or should we begin to worry?

Think about what you're saying:  let's use the 80k/week scenario, in your estimation.  That's STILL under 30 million in 7 years!  That is kinda..."WiiU-like", if you ask me.  I see Microsoft bailing on Xbox WAY before they hemmorage money through years, like that (again)...

Nice bump.

Now that Xbone is continuing a slide (granted the slide downward is slower than Wii U did) downward to that 20k range.... maybe its not so hard to believe people don't want a $500 console that is worse than a $400 console?

MS will definitely have a price cut before holidays this year and/or massive bundling. It will likely sell more in this first year than Wii U... so OP is technically right. But all signs point to PS4 having massive dominance this gen.
