I wasn't trying to snoop or anything, but my wife sucks at hiding thing.  That beautiful woman got me exactly what I asked for.....a playstation Vita! She got me Wipeout 2048 to go along with it.  I need some good game suggestions from you vita owners out there. I'm trying my hardest not to take it for a test spin. Merry Christmas everyone!!!

If you are from EU PSN then there is sale for Persoan 4 so try to grab it.

Next games are Tearaway, Gravity Rush, Uncharted(from PS+), Dokuro, Flower(for relaxing).

GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

yeah... my wife gave me a PSV 3G/Wifi too with a 8Gb card, Killzone Mercenary and LBP vita, all 175€, nice deal IMO... Loving it... have tones of games from PS plus also... and Soul Sacrifice tomorrow...

Question for you all that have it for ages... do you play it, with the wall plug charging it? i shouldn't? right? but now that my PS3 did die on me and its fixing, i have to play Vita all day... Also, resogun in remote play from my brother in law PS4 its awesome in the vita screen...

I don't. I just recharge when the battery gets low.

i know heat damage bateries, but she doesn't get hot at all charging in standby... i was just asking, i did charge it over night. for some "miracle" Vita could be alright with charge and gaming at the same time...

Proudest Platinums - BF: Bad Company, Killzone 2 , Battlefield 3 and GTA4

Gravity Rush is one of my favourite games ever, I cant recommend it enough, it's a really charming, lovely game. Killzone and Uncharted are both great console experiences transposed onto a handheld, plus, though I haven't played it yet, everyone seems to love P4G and it's on sale right now on PSN

That is a pretty damn nice Christmas present she got you, but I do hope she got you a memory card too, because I'm not sure if you can play wipeout without it, unless it was a psv 2000 model she got you. but yeah regarding the game.... you could get a http://static4.thcdn.com/productimg/0/600/600/29/10825729-1372770809-857336.jpg which is a really awesome 8gb card for it and 10games (3 of which are vita games, 2 psp games and 5 sorta odd lil psn titles) but it's a great start of a collection for yourself only issue which you're going to see right away is that wipeout 2048 is with it, so you could trade in your copy I guess.... or keep it since wipeout2048+patches from the store is 1.7gb of space and LBP is 2gb with patches.

Have a Great christmas tho, hope you got her something she really wanted too, happy Holidays.

edit - that ps vita mega pack could well be EU psn only!

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

I was last week at Best Buy and try to buy a vita, and I was for an Hour going in circles at the stores with the vita box in hand, askin myself "do I buy it or not", "do I buy it or not","do I buy it or not","do I buy it or not",

I was going crazy !!!, but finally I have to leave it :/, In november I bought a PS4 and right now I still have some debts so this was the main reasons, so I had to leave it, but in January going for round 2 lets see how it goes.

So how is it ? is it the OLED screen or the LCD one ?

Well then you better get that Tearaway game!

I've played my Vita till the "battery low" warning comes up, then if I still wanna play, I'll plug it in and let it charge while playing, no problems at all. Now I don't recommend doing it ALL the time. As it's hard on the battery life to charge and be in use at the same time. But no worries at all about killing it, burning it up, or doing any damage. I just wouldn't make a every day habit of it. Charge it while not in use, then it's ready to go when you need it. If play time outlasts the battery time, charge and play away.

That's a nice present and seems like you wanted one too. Now i wonder if i am getting anything or getting too old for presents.

Persona, Little Big Planet & Tearaway seems good places to start.

Even 100 years old isn't too old for presents! Hope you get something good.

Do you live in America or Europe? If Europe, Persona 4 Golden is currently 50% off on PSN. Probably one of the best Vita games.

I also highly recommend Tearaway, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush, Guacamelee. You might also like some of the indies like Terraria or Spelunky if you haven't played them yet on PC

Edit: Forgot about Killzone and LBP!

I'm in the United State. I'll have to see what's on sale as soon as I get it online.
