personally I think the series has gotten better each time. I loved the control of melee over the 64, and I felt like they balanced brawl a bit better than melee and I looooved the addition of final smashes. i'm super pumped for the new one, although I will say it's shaping up to be my least favorite roster. gimme my jiggely puff and lose the fitress mistress and the villager (would've preferred the nooker) luckily I still get to live the dream of mega v sonic v Mario. so much awesomeness!

Yes, I'm a melee elitist punk and I'm so mad akdjlasjdioqjidojaisodjsaasdijiasdja IT DOESN'T EVEN HAVE WAVE-DASHING AND THERE'S NO TRUE COMBOS UGH THIS GAME TAKES NO SKILL EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT OUT IT'S GOING TO BE AWFUL AISJODASJDIOASJD

...

No not really, as long as it's a good game in it's own right, I'll be able to enjoy it. It doesn't have to be like an existing good game to be a good game, after all, even if it's part of the same series. :

no not really. I liked the feel of melee more than brawl but at least its in the middle

Wii U will be my first console that I will ever own from Nintendo... If SSBU is not close to Melee then I guess il need to get Gamecube and Melee that looks like a real fighter, I think people don't like Melee not because of "glitches" and "bugs" but rather because they were incompetent to learn the basics and are generally poorly skilled when comes to fighters. Those "glitches/bugs" allowed Super Smash Bros Melee not just to be for casuals, but a more hardcore audience, if SSBU is not close to Melee then I hope that there will be another SSB on Wii U aimed at Melee audience... Otherwise those 1 million people will still stick to Melee and their Gamecube's and avoid U like they did with Brawl...

I know that Super Smash Bros was created for casuals, but Melee proved it can be for core/hardcore with its "glitches/bugs" that allowed to distinction between people and every time I watch Melle matches... It honestly looks amazing, it looks like a fighter, the way the moves are done in Melee is borderline an art like Super Smash Bros 64.

Only reason why Microsoft and Sony fans take Nintendo fans seriously is when comes to Super Smash Bros Melee and you people discriminate these skilled players because when you have a match with someone in Melee that is very skilled and knows every "glitch/bug" then you cry about it because it is NIntendo Hard for you...

I've owned pretty much every single Nintendo console except virtual boy and 3ds, and I have never played a Smash Bros. game.

Smash Bros. on Wii U will be my first Smash Bros. game.
