I don't know if the VGchartz numbers are correct but it looks like the ps4 is outselling xbox one close to 3:1 in Europe but Xbox one is ahead in the USA. So it doesn't surprise me if Europe has more Xbox One marketing as they don't want the ps4 to have an early lead which is difficult to claw back later.

This is good news for me anyway as I hope Microsoft will be forced into a price reduction in Europe sooner rather than later if PS4 powers ahead. I intend to buy both consoles.

Well I have been receiving many X1 emails from amazon.ca, saying ''they won't last for long so buy now'', seen a couple X1 ads on TV, only 1 Ps4 ad, and 0 Wii U ad...

Experienced something like this for the first time a couple days ago at Toys R Us. You walk in and they always have a little alleyway blocked off with merchandise so you basically have to walk along a square corridor path to make your way into the actual store, and at the end they have an archway made from Xbone advertising that you walk under to get into the store. Not in your face aggressive wise but just a simple way to make every single customer aware when they enter the store, thought it was a nice touch.

Yes. At my local JB Hi-fi there is XboxONE banners everywhere and even their website is covered in ads for it.

I'm guessing seeing as the PS4 is sold out here until March, there is no point advertising it until demand is close to being met.
