Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Do You Think Nintendo Will Let More Third Party's Work On Their Series?

Do You????

Yup. 46 46.00%

Nope. 14 14.00%

F-ZERO!!!!! 20 20.00%

STARFOX!!!! 20 20.00%

Total:100

Since they're doing it (Again) with Zelda, do you think they'll do it with Mario, Metroid, Pokemon, Pikmin, and the other ones? Personally, I would want a spin off 3D Kirby platformer. I wouldn't want it "full" 3D, but more like 3D Land/World. That's probably never going to happen though. In the realm of possibility, I could see a third party doing another Zelda spin off, (Thought I'd never say that...) or Mario Kart.

It's really nothing that new. Sega worked on F-Zero, Namco has worked on Star Fox and Mario Kart, Capcom worked on Zelda.

If Nintendo really wants to make hay with any of these titles, they should consider a bigger cross over though IMO. Like Zelda x Final Fantasy or Monster Hunter or something. As much as these collaborations are fun, I think Zelda Musou is the only one that's relatively significant.

platinum games should do Star Fox for WiiU

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

Well... technically its not their main games so far... Like with Hyrule Warriors... its not the Next "Zelda"... its basically Dynasty warriors re-skined as the Zelda Universe... So I think there will be more Collaboration/Crossovers but idk about their main games. From what I heard, Namco is probably the only third party actually working on a main title (Smash Bros) but we will see

Um... Oops. Posted on the wrong thread.

If Nintendo want to increase their output to compensate for the lack of 3rd party games, teaming up with certain studios to create games with their franchises seems logical, with heavy quality control of course. I hope Zelda warriors turns out well and gets good sales, it may sway Nintendo to keep within this formula and help keep game droughts down.

yes, but not with Mario

Hell no, TREASURE ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treasure_%28company%29 ) creators of Sin & Punishment should do Star Fox for Wii U.

Platinum could make a Custom Robo game, with more action and online battles, or just a new game.

They better. I want them to let SEGA make the next F-zero. In particular Sumo since the japanese studios no longer deliver/exist.

Some people seem to think this is a new thing. What about Super Mario RPG on the SNES?

F-Zero for me please.
