Pick up Peggle 2... that game is super addictive. Also Max the curse of Brotherhood is also very good. I made a video of it and one of my friend bought the game from it and the other one ended up buying an Xbox One!

if I was you I'd boot it up and get all the updates and check if all is fine.

my orig plan was to parcel up my P.S.44 and let my son open it but what if it was dud!!!

I'd at least update and check it out and re parcel if you need to

Yeah well that's the plan, boot it up and make sure it works properly then do the updates and DL the games. If all is well, pack it back up, wrap it up and slap it under the tree.
