It is the direct sequel to A Link to the Past. It is by no means a remake.

Havent played the game, but I was lead to believe the overworld was largely the same, just improved for the 3ds hardware.

Well......Nintendo better fire somebody, becuase their marketing gave me the complete wrong message if what you say is true.

For the record, Nintendo does need to lay-off their entire marketing staff.

Pretty much says "You can spend considerable resources crafting a vast world with hundreds of possibilities, yet it pales to the cosmetic and minor gameplay enhancements of a 20 year old game".

Just as outrageous as 2008 when MGS4 was given the best graphics award.......over Crysis Warhead for PC. PC. lol


It isn't a remake though.. or.. in that case GTA5 is a remake too.

 Not to hate on TLOU and GTAV, but they didn't really bring out anything fresh or new gameplay wise... A Link Between Worlds deserves GOTY more than those two games in my opinion.
