Huh? Digimon games have never had good stories..just passable. The ground work for Pokemon is collecting and battling. Digimon stay's closer to its Tamagotchi roots where the focus of digimon is Raising a powerful monster. If look at the games the battle systems has always been kinda a drag as NB could never find anything that represents the franchise well and distances itself from Pokemon which is oart f the reason the games went downward, but its raising mechanics are top notch and is waaay more satisfying to get Digimn you want than getting that pokemon you want.
