i found this and a few other videos and text files talking about this and it's happend in a few tornaments now..

microsoft says :

It just takes a quick sign-in, which Kinect makes easier than ever before.”

interesting so you need to be online to play your games.....thats not DRM?

How else would you suggest that they allow you to play downloaded content that you've purchased on someone elses console without having you log into your account?

Otherwise, everyone could just download everything and play it? 

idk on my ps3 and xbox 360 i can play games i download on my account without being connected to the interent just being loged onto my account..

is it so hard to log in your account? how difficult is that? how evil is it not to create an xbox account these days? Unless you pirate a game then whine like shit.

That is only true on your primary 360. If you download the game onto a second 360 you need to be logged into Xbox live to play it.

is it DRM?  yes.

is it the DRM that required 24 hour check-ins?  no.

is it the exact same DRM as on ps4?  yes.

is if a fair use of DRM?  imo, yes.

Only if you are playing on the ps3 or 360 it was purchased on, if you try playing your games on a different ps3 or 360 you must be logged on.  Same thing on the ps4 and x1... So im not sure what you are trying to point out in this thread...

as much as i know you can change in the settings if the console you play on is your main console and all games you download on that will be also available if you play offline (something like that) but if you purchase a game digitally on another xbox one (let's say you are at a friends house) you can only play the game as long as you are logged in your account because otherwise you could simply download it on 100 xbox ones and all could play the game for free then.
