This really baffles me. I've been browsing forums on the web for some time now. From IGN to Gametrailers, Joystiq, 1UP to GamesRadar. There seem to be a vast following of Nintendo gamers that are very passionate to the Nintendo brand. 

You Nintendo faithfuls have supported Nintendo consoles through it all. The ups of the NES, the downs of the Gamecube and the insanity that was the Wii. 

The Wii-U has been on the market for well over a year now, It was the only " Next Gen " console on the market in 2013 up until November 14th,  has released some fan favorite characters in titles such as Pickmin 3, Wind Waker HD, Monster Hunter, New Super Luigi U and Super Mario 3D World,  but yet still  the sales of the Wii-U is at a mear 4.5 million ?

Are the Nintendo faithfuls to blame for the lackluster Wii-U sales to this point ?

If so, If you are a Nintendo Faithful, why have you NOT bought a Wii-U yet ?

And those sold well, what's your problem? Not every Nintendo Fan is interested in Monster Hunter or SM3DW or Wind Waker HD.

I can simply replace WiiU with Vita, change the years and sales, and ask you Sony dudes the same question.
If you are a Sony faithful, why haven't you bought A Vita yet? I'm an avid Nintendo fans and even I have one XP

i bought it!.....but then sold it.....but then bought it again!
so im not to blame. plus i buy 3rd party stuff a lot on NIntendo consoles.

i think its too expensive. Nintendo consoles have always been very cheap at launch and WiiU broke that rule....and its paying it simple as that

This thread isn't really worth a response, but I'll post anyway.

Let me ask you this, sebastian: Do you think every single Nintendo supporter on those sites you mentioned total 4.5 million? Because by your logic, every single one of them should have bought a Wii U by now, regardless of personal factors like finances or interest in specific games. And by you logic, you have read the posts of 4.5 million different Nintendo fans, because as we all know, message boards on gaming websites represent the entire potential consumer base.

why didn't you put a question mark on your title instead of stating it as a fact and then posing the question in your OP?

So many of these types of threads calling out Nintendo fans can be switched out with Sony and Vita. My personal favorite is the one suggesting Sony's handheld games should go third party so everyone doesn't have to buy a Vita to enjoy them.

Hmm okay I'll bite. Just because someone is a fan of Nintendo doesn't mean they're going to rush out and buy every Nintendo console day one. I'm a Sony fan and I didn't bother with the PSP until 2010, six years after it launched.
