God, do you think the development of this title takes ressources away from Zelda U ?

You literally got 1 new and one HD-remake Zelda game this year !

Reggie was right, gamers are insatable.

I didn't asked for TWWHD, and ALBW can be very good but is way to similar to ALTTP. I refuse to believe all this time the only thing they can do is a HD remake nobody asked and a direct sequel to ALTTP with basically the same overworld.

And, are you sure this is an 100% third party game? Because OoT 3D was but not WWHD. I'd prefer if the resources and time wasted in WWHD was invested in Zelda U.

Yeah, if you exclude half the released games, there isn´t much to look forward too.

Your loss, ALBW is the best handheld Zelda game ever made, and WW HD the best looking.

"time wasted in WWHD" ...don´t make me laugh

Really shocked to be seeing Nintendo sign off on this. I think it shows that they're willing to take risks.

Not impressed by the game at all, but these types of games have never been my forte.

I've 100% three times ALBW, so not my loss. Still, feels like a copy paste with some minor changes. It is not a jump like other games.

And WWHD had a six months development cycle. 6 months that could be invested in the real new entry that can push more sales than WWHD.

Personally I loved ALBW and thought Wind Waker was pretty meh. I like the visuals in it but the puzzles and fighting are so easy that by the end I just felt really underwhelmed (never played the gamecube one). This Hyrule Warriors game is specifically designed to get Japan hooked on Wii U. Considering that the One Piece Warriors spinoff sold 800,000, this should have a big impact on sales over there. Im going to get it too but I doubt it sells over 1 million here.

So Nintendo can't get enough third party games thus requiring third party devs to make games from Nintendo IP? Looks to be the start of Nintendo going in the direction of being just a game developer.

This seems more like a big tease for fans that were looking forward to a real Zelda game, but good for fans of Zelda and Musou.

how the hell did you come to that conclusion? they're letting a third party dev work on one of their franchise and take it in a different way, how the hell does that point to them going 3rd party?

I know right.  Nintendo let Namco make Starfox, Sega make F-Zero, and even the new Smash Brothers is being worked on by Namco.

One Piece is a very popular IP right now. Zelda is not and we are talking about Wii U. I doubt it will pass 150k.

Those pictures make me want to throw up. I've yet to see the trailer, though... Will get to that some time.

The idea seems pretty alright as well.
