Everyone (Or at least most people) is certain that PS4 will outsell Wii U, but I want to see when most people think it will happen. I think it will happen early 2015. Mid-2015 if they have a MK8 + Smash Bros. $250 bundle, but I don't see that happening. I think an MK8 bundle at $250, and a separate $250 Smash Bros. bundle would be the farthest they go.

Given that Sony plans to ship 5 million units this fiscal year, and the WiiU will pass that mark at Christmas... not before late Summer or early fall at the earliest. Sony sales have been great and may continue to be strong but it is supply constrained at the moment. Sales will slow until the PS4 games inventory improves after the initial fervour is over, it seems there is still pent up demand.

While the WiiU had a dismal year with a prolonged game drought and weak sales, the console has built up a good library and has good titles coming out that bode well for a respectable (but not wii like) second year. Sony has captured momentum in most markets with XB1 only making a large impact in the US/UK (and possibly a few smaller markets that I have missed)... they will do well.

Seam Machines will also enter the market in this time frame and starting at $499 may also have an impact.

Next holiday. Kart and Kong should give the Wii U a nice bump while during summer the PS4 is going to slow down.

Next spring because until then Sony will sell every console they can ship. If for some weird reason this is not the case, either by supply constraints or WiiU magically selling then I say the day Watch Dogs is released.

Because PS4´s sales are driven only because of hype, and hype is a treacherous bitch. Wii U on the other hand will receive great games almost every month.

I said March 2015 months ago... but i thought the Wii U would atleast match last year sales... it hasnt.... not even close. Now I will say summer.
