lol,,yea man i got what you said and I ment that bogus claim can only come from Microsoft

He had no problem recently twice adjusting his Others data based on sales figures from German and UK tracking firms... why wouldn't he adjust NA for NPD? Just to be stubborn?

Well I know for a fact that in the past when Ioi has adjusted for NPD his original data has proven to be correct. Maybe he doesn't consider NPD to be accurate enough to adjust his data for, especially since they are missing almost the entire casual market by not tracking Walmart or TRU.

I don't actually know though, just speculating =P

are you kidding?Microsoft admitted that is wasn't a surprise for them that xbox 360 was outsold by PS3 due to shortage or some other bogus reason for that matter.they addmitted it and you guyz still think it's not accurate ?WOwww,,,I will post teh article later tonight,,,However according to this site 360 sold more in Jan in NA,,,so which one is accurate you think?

If Ioi changes data for certain things and wont change data for others than thats hypocritical and he should just stick with his numbers all the time.

It's interesting to see that the 360 according to VGchartz outsold the PS3 for every week in 2008 in Australia, UK and North America. (before any adjustments). Of course as good as everywhere else of course the PS3 performs better.

But GfK (Australia), Chart Track (UK) and even the NPD (North America) don't agree. IMO with regard to 360 (overtracked) vs PS3 (undertracked) sales VGChartz has been way off so far this year, I hope this improves.

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."

PS3 vs 360 sales

I hear Gebx grumbling somewhere.

Nintendo & Sony supporter:

 Consoles: Wii & PS3.

if Canada was exactly 10% of the US market the VGC numbers would be spot on for US+Can totals for PS3 (NPD: 3.515 million for US x1.1 = 3.87 million) , but in the last year Can has shown us, that it embraced the PS3 quite a bit earlier and I guess "americas" might include some other markets aswell, so a raise of ~1-2% seems reasonable
