I wonder if Polyphony, considering their history and pedigree, looks at what they want to achieve in terms of years and decades? Maybe the vgchartz ambiguous sales number guessing game hasn't yet been brought to their attention.

GT6 was something that Polyphony felt was necessary before moving to PS4. As a consumer, I'll take integrity and a vgchatz flop, as opposed to the alternative, any day of the week.

I feel like people do not understand meaning of the word flop. Also OP, if you going to compare numbers be fair about.

There is something about this game, idk what, that strangely makes me feel that this game did'nt cost that much to make. So flop, not mega flop.

releasing same time as P.S.4 on last gen hardware has hurt this badly

it's a year late but still an excellent game, best sim so far, even more so with the 20 million credits cheat

I am hoping the game loses money so it makes them go back to the drawing board and make some big changes to the franchise, it's gotten very stale imho.

But the more I see of the game and play it, seems very much GT5.5, which is fine I guess, but it means it probably cost little to make so they will probably make a good profit anyway.
