1 - Price cut to 250USD for the console and 50USD for the games.

2 - Release one strong franchise per month the whole year like they did to 3DS this year.

3 - Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros bundles in day one.

4 - Release all the GC and N64 classics to virtual console at a nice price (no more than 15USD)

5 - Bring back all the old franchises like F-Zero, Earthbound,Excitebike,Metroid.

 that`s it.

3. Make New IPs and bring back old ones (possibly via expansion)
4. Continue Being Awesome

thats all I have...

1. Buy Platinum Games
2. Buy Sega
3. Buy Square-Enix
4. Buy Capcom
5. Buy Namco-Bandai
6. Buy Ubisoft
7. Buy EA
8. Buy Activision
9. Buy Sony
10. Buy Microsoft ... well, if i think about it - there will be no need anymore^^
10. Let them all make games :D

To be honest:
1. Buy some studios and expand your own to be able to launch the Next Generation with a monster exclusive Lineup within the first year. I am talking about at least 1 game like Metroid, Zelda, Mario, MarioKart, Pokemon, F-Zero, Starfox, Pilotwings, WaveRace, ExciteTruck, SmashBros, Kirby-Game, DonkeyKong, X ... per Month. Launch in November: 3 for Launch, 2 in December, then 1 for January-Oktober, 2 in November and 3 in December = 20 Games within 1 Year!

The WiiU, in my opinion, can never ever be saved anymore. Nintendo should not put too much efforts into it.

Oh well, i just found one other point.
2. Increase the VC-Games output drastically (i mainly mean GCN/N64 games) AND lower their prices to acceptable amounts and give us special deals and sales during the whole year (like Steam). The games are, in my opinion, much too expensive. Constantly 1 GCN-Game + 2 N64-Games + 2 SNES-Games + 3 NES-Games + 2 Other Indie Titels per Week should do it within the first year. Later replace the 3 NES-Games by more Indie Games.

1. Rebrand the thing. If not, at least change the logo so that the U doesn`t feel like an add on to the Wii.

2. Change the shape of the console.

3. Change the boxart of the console to actually show off the console instead of hiding it behind the gamepad (coupled with the U problem in the logo, it does reinforce the feeling that the gamepad is an add on).

4. Use pics in the boxart of the actual console to exemplify what you can do with the gamepad - like they did with the NES boxes, where families were together playing around a TV.

5. Make partnerships to diversify your exclusive portfolio as to include sports, racers, shooters, action/adventure and RPG titles.

6. Make use of the Virtual Console by releasing a special NES, SNES, N64 and GC Wii U special editions and including all launch games (made and/or published by Nintendo) for the respective consoles and also include an original (wireless) controller to go with the special edition.

7. Release special collections with VC and Indie games, for special prices and advertisse you gaming offerings on TV (retail, VC and Indie).

8. Lastly, pack in 3rd party games with your best 1st/2nd party games for a special price as to build a fanbase of those franchises and encourage 3rd parties to support the system.

So the 3 things most of us agree is:

- Price cut (250$ or 200$)
- More games overall, especially triple A 3rd party games.
- More and better advisement.

1. Have bundles with mature AAA third party games. Having AC or CoD bundled with Wii U's will guarantee the sales of third party games and create better relationships of third parties with Nintendo for future. Also, this will attract a lot of core gamers since right now all the bundles point towards "kiddy" games.

2. Nintendo Network is lagging in features that even PS3. Unified accounts, better online support in games, voice chat implementations.

3. Ultimate Gamer Bundle - Deluxe Wii U, 3DS/3DS XL, with a game each for both. This can retail for around $450-470.

4. There are 40 million 3DS's out there. Why not market straight to them? Make Wii U game trailers and more Wii U information readily available for them to see. It's free marketing and as long as it is done in a classy way that doesn't seem forced on 3DS owners, it can be effective and at almost no cost.

5. Incorporate better online support on ALL your future games. Even if they are meant to be single player experiences, having a feature such as leaderboards, tournaments, etc can go a long way to meeting modern standards in gaming. There are people out there that crave for online presence to game with people they can't regularly play locally with.

6. Having a trophy/achievement like system. Gamers like being competitive even with their friends. "I have more trophies" or "I have more achievements for Bioshock". Comparing these with friends is what drives a lot of gamers nowadays - address that.

7. Make more original IPs that GAMERS want. You sort of recently started this trend with Wonderful 101, X and Bayonetta which look amazing. But Bayonetta is not an ORIGINAL IP and Wonderful 101 was not something that core gamers could look at and immediately gain interest in. All eyes are right now on Miyamoto's new IP and fingers crossed its not another Wonderful 101 case scenario.

8. I understand they are in a desperate situation right now to gain investor confidence, however DON'T announce games YEARS before they come out. Bayonetta was announced before Wii U launched and literally just one reveal has been made on the game since. X was revealed in January but aside 1 awesome trailer, theres been NOTHING on it. Zelda U and Smash Bros were announced years before they were/will be revealed. It takes away from the surprise element. Sure gamers know they will be coming eventually but finding it out in a trailer is always preferable than Iwata saying it in a bad english pronounciation. Which brings me to the next point.

9. Reggie is doing a great job in being the face of Nintendo but Iwata is the complete opposite. Lay him down. Even if he is not laid off, stop showing him in Directs and E3 conferences. The image of Nintendo is shown to be very Japanese which is not what western and european gamers want. Miyamoto might be iconic to gaming industry but its very irritating to see him and a translator to go on stage every time. It takes away from the presentation. Reggie shows a great level of professionalism and Nintendo should send people like him on the stage to rep Nintendo.

10. I don't know if this is technically even possible but make programmers optimize the Wii U OS to the point that it only requires 512 MB. This way more RAM is opened up for developers to use. OR they can better optimize it to use more of the RAM to provide an always recording service that records the last 2-3 minutes of gameplay (as opposed to 15 of ps4 due to the lower RAM). Sharing these on MiiVerse in the upcoming user created communities would be a boom to the overall Wii U experience.

If Nintendo can do even a few of these, it can really get the Wii U going.

MSG ME AS YOU ADD.

1. Finish expanding the first party studios to avoid future HD-development slowdowns and delays.

2. Resume ordinary game development pace.

3. Don't touch the price. Wii U already has a $100 and $200 advantage over PS4 and Xbox One respectively.

4. More diverse marketing; pre-teens, parents and elders are not the only dedicated gamers in this world.

1. Accept the reality.
2. Enjoy the games.

The same for the Vita.

the emegency plan for the gamers

This is a sales site though. It kind of makes sense to talk about what would help a company make more sales.

Oh, point one applies to Nintendo and Sony too.

There is nothing they could do to change the fate of their consoles.
