Damn right. Sega consoles are the way to go. When they launch the Dreamcast in a couple years it will be the best selling console in history. Trust me.

I was going to buy the xbox1 after reading sevengens stealth worship thread and now you made me sheep gonna buy a genesis instead.
I hate you spin doctors and your ability to create a hype out of an old fart and thin air.

i mean,some consoles are so much more than consoles-that's why i call them pc's ,but why the hell did i buy an xbox and abandoned pc gaming 10 years ago?
Maybe pc's are too much "so much more" for a console player
+ having the possibility to play on my genesis while reading some facebook messages on my smartphone will change my life forever.

Until a month ago i hated blu ray and had no hdmi but now ,all of a sudden i love all that stuff(as long as the movies don't use the completely useless 1080p full hd standard as 720>1080)

Sega, you need all these add-ons, the CD, 32x, if you want the full experience.

SNES? Just the console. Nothing extra. Don't need all these extra features and peripherals.

Not to mention it has Super Mario Kart.

I will try to find the link to my article on which is better Neo Geo or Nintendo play choice arcade machine. Samurai Showdown is probably going to be the best selling fighting game of all time, but Castlevania has never played better since they added the countdown timer per quarter to the mix. Article is on geocities site somewhere, and I recently made it using Frontpage by cutting and pasting from Word into it. Hit me up if you want to meet up for a quick game of Crossfire or Pogs...

The title says "warning: controversial".

Plus, I'm not bashing either console. Bashing would be if I said "the xbox one is so pitifully underdeveloped over the xbox360 that it's a wonder they even released a new console at all, when the only real improvement is the emigration of call of duty assholes onto the ps4"

All I'm doing is making an artistic critique of the current gaming environment and the literally hundreds of threads that all say the same thing, and I'm comedically upending that reality to remind us that this has gone on since 20 odd years ago. It's just for fun. Plus I bet I'm a bigger sega fan than you. Take a picture of your collection when you get home and we'll compare :D
