Serious question, but how many times would you jerk off a day?

I guess there were times where I surfed porn regularly like most dudes. Funny thing, since we're being honest here, is that I had a fetish for websites with prostitute listings.

I'd say 6/7 times was the upper limit. Usually at least 3 times on a coach day.

Sounds fun.

My jerkoff pattern is directly linked to how bored I am, not how horny I am.  If I'm bored, I jerk off.  On the worst days, it's 8-12, but my 'record' was 24 times in 24 hours.  On the flipside, if I'm busy actually doing shit, writing, or otherwise setting something up, I've gone a month and a half without jerking off.  It's all relative.

That's quite a lot eh!

Two things, not a genius move to find solace on a video game forum.
Secondly, sounds more like your arrogance has finally caught up with you.

Easy to blame your disinterest in mundane things on ADHD. Did this all start before you were 12?

Tagged ... Your stories are usually entertaining, so I will read it later during my recess period. Right now I have a mountain of books to devour.

I think once a week is more than enough, but only on a weekend.

wut. That's the least I've ever heard if true. (except for monks I knew/know/was)

But let's not derail this into a jerk-fest thread please.

I see this thread has turned into a jerk off contest

wtf runa!

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

First off... you don't "catch" ADHD. So it's not your professors fault if you have it.

You probably don't have ADHD. You are just lazy.

ADHD is so over diagnosed in some places because it more or less matches the symptoms of lazy people and is a great excuse.

The pot isn't helping in that regard.

So. Congratulations. You don't have to feel bad about yourself due to your distaste for people with mental diseases.

On the other hand however... your problem is more of a personal flaw.

As for not knowing anyone as smart as you that hasn't achieved anything?

Look up Christopher Langan.

He's way smarter than you.... and his main occupation is as a bouncer.

IQ and outcome actually are only very loosely correlated.  In general, it seems IQ seems more a gradiant system then a predictor of how well you will apply your intellegence.

(Like for example, how 50 pushups can tell if you will make it in the army, but WON'T say how good of a soldier you become.)

That sounds really rough.

First of all please go and find something to eat, anything. It'll make you feel so much better.

Secondly find someone to talk to face to face about all this. Can you talk to your girlfriend bout this? Family? Friends? Counsellor?

And don't be hung up on possibly having a mental illness, although I appreciate how hard it must be to accept that. The first thing to know is no matter how rich, powerful, famous, smart or not any of those things you may be...you're susceptible to a mental illness. I'm assuming you haven't seen a Doctor yet?

About ADHD. You usually develop it as a child. Did you have the symptoms of ADHD as a child? If you can think back that far. No offense but your description of why you think you have ADHD isn't very convincing, so don't narrow yourself down into that. You may have ADHD for all I know but don't self-diagnose...go to the appropriate people that diagnose you. Here's a page that may help...however maybe it's best if you read it tomorrow when you're feeling better.

http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Attention-deficit-hyperactivity-disorder/Pages/Introduction.aspx

If you do end up having ADHD then you've made the first step to managing it by realising you may have it.

Sometimes it's these low points in life that become turning points for us. I hope you feel much better tomorrow :)

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

"I'm rather astonished someone as  smart and ADHD riddled as you finds quality company in a supermodel"

She's an artsy chick - NOT a supermodel-type. She surfs, goes to trance parties, paints and grows veggies and she treats me like a god. She's the best thing I've ever discovered. Doesn't get inflated about her wealth one bit.

"assumes people would think all people in Africa are lazy"

Not all people. Just most of them. It really, really is true. If you said "Chinese people work hard" then everyone would accept that. This is the same. Nothing agains anyone - just an observation.

"And to be honest, the thread kinda feels like satire.  while there is a chance a supergenius would come to gamrConnect, I kind of doubt that, anyone as smart as this story claims to be would announce it.  I mean, I learned when I Was in my teens to never preach how intelligent you supposedly are.  I'm not sure who said it, but a great man once said that a smart person never declares themselves smart; if they were smart, their actions would do the speaking for them.  or something.  I'm greatly paraphrasing here.  "

I never got that. A person can surely objectively measure himself to some extent!? I can surely consider my IQ as a type of signifier that (on average) 99.975% of people are less gifted than me!? I never go and talk like this to people in real life, but a forum-ego can be deleted in a whisk. Some people are naturally humble. Some people flaunt. And some people pretend to be humble because they have learnt that it is a better way to gain respect. Whatever the case may be, I don't really care, because, from what I've learnt, hard work is WAY more important than IQ.

"But if your story is true, I Feel for you. I really, really do. "

Thanks :) but I must say that I didn't right it for the pities I'd get. No, I always write to myself. And VGChartz was open while I was sobbing like a little girl in the lab.

Oh, I agree that there's nothing wrong with acknowledging one's strengths and weaknesses.  If you're smart, you're smart.  If you're dumb, you're dumb. Understanding the difference is key.

The point I was trying to make is that, like you said, intelligence doesn't matter.  I supposedly have an IQ of 189, or so I was told by the people that tested me, but that's not a number I flaunt because I've done nothing with it.  I Went to a mid-range college (graduated with honors), then proceeded to do nothing with my life.  I never mustered up the concentration or dedication to apply for those jobs, get my credentials (would you believe I only got my drivers license this year?), and I Even had to move back with my parents for a period of over two years.  Intelligence is great, but all it does it make you realize how much better you could have been.  I Still have a lot of life ahead of me, but I know precisely what I'm capable of, and it pains me to know that I never lived up to potential and likely never will.

So yes, I know what you're feeling, and I understand the 'depression' that comes with that sinking realization.

The style of your writing leads me to believe that you felt bitterness at my "self praise" in the OP.

"First off... you don't "catch" ADHD. So it's not your professors fault if you have it.

Did I say that!? I've considered my whole childhood and late teens and all my behaviour before rusing to this conclusion.

I'm sorry but I don't know Christopher Logan. It should be fucking obvious that I'm talking about people I know personally.

"IQ and outcome actually are only very loosely correlated.  In general, it seems IQ seems more a gradiant system then a predictor of how well you will apply your intellegence."

Yeah we all know that. I'm just using it as an indicator. It does mean something you know.
