The only reasonable reason I can think of is that Sony wanted to compete vs Forza...Which is idiotic since its next gen vs old.

In all seriousness it will do above 3 million just won't reach the 4 million mark (including digital sales). But I hope I'm wrong! Hope it sells at least 7 million however that seems very unlikely

Forza 5 had the best opening week for Forza. Forza 4 was 515,000. Forza 5 is 600,000. I wonder if some GT fans are dabbling in Forza 5 and Xbox One? Forza has never had a better opening week before than GT. But Forza 5 beat GT6 opening week. And Forza 5 has launched in far less countries to. Be interesting to see the UK numbers of Forza 5. Everyone I know with Xbox One has bought a copy in my area of UK.

Also Forza 5 released in only 13 countries. GT6 released in over 40. So in looking deeper Forza 5 is doing much better than any previous Forza. Forza 4 released in over 40 countries and yet only had 515,000 first week.

There is definately a possiblity GT fans are trying Xbox One and Forza 5. It is advertised like crazy in the UK.
