Lol what Game in 720p beside shitty multiplat for braindeads (BF/CoD) and KI a 20 bucks Game That went 720p clearly by design choice for playability (anybody believing 1080p wasn't achievable with good fps on XBO HW Is either a troll or a mentally challenged personne)
what games are 720p???? Honest question and come to think of it I'm not sure KI is the one.... So see if me that is relatively involved in gaming news is not really aware... Unless a retailer associate goes out of its way in store to bash XBO and push PS4 most regular dudes/parents etc (which are the biggest chunk of customers) have absolutely no clue... Or very limited one...

You cannot take anything any site that uses wording like "the Xbox One would gain a rare advantage over the PS4" says seriously. In an environment where both console's lineups are anaemic, but particularly the PS4's, that sort of comment just instantly dispels any credibility.

Except Forza 5 all first-party games are 720p or 900p... Execpt sports games all multiplataforms are 720p or 900p.

It is easy to list the 1080p only... they are less than the sub-1080p.

For PS4 only one is not 1080p... Battlefield 4 runs at 900p.

Edit - I will try list the Xbone games...

KI - 720p
Dead Rising 3 - 720p
Ryse - 900p
Battlefield 4 - 720p
CoD - 720p
AC4 - 900p

he means native res when playing games, watching movies, or doing anything really.

Wait... So he's saying that Spartan assault and Tombraider are somehow proof that M$ is planning on upping the res of every released One game?

no. he is saying that xbox one cannot support a native 1080p res. but can support a native 4k res. and that the native 1080p res will be patched in soon.

Wow, dat article. Why in hell would 1080p not supported? Its not about ''possible'' but capable, 1080p on xbone on any decent graphic game will be possible but at the cost of other effect/texture.

Anyway, res do not matter right?
