So I'm doing the 30 day trial for MU.

And man... this service is bad.

It's extremely laggy

It often crashes

The music selection is pretty limited (for me)

The music often pauzes itself (for no reason)

And when you want to start it back up it crashes or you have to wait 5minutes for it to boot up...

 

The concept is great, I love to listen to my music on my ps4 while playing MP or no story related SP. But if sony wants people to pay for this service.. They really have to step up their game with it. Because atm, it's a no-go imo.

 

Has anyone of you ever tried it and what is you opinion about it?

I had it for a year and didn't have any problems at all. But the low quality just really turns me off. Even with the hq update in summer, you just get 320 kpbs AAC. That's nowhere near "high quality".

Still waiting for a lossless streaming service.

I'm complaining about the ps4 version. maybe that one is more bugged that the ps3 one.

Yes, it's an abomination. Half the time, it doesn't even work. Of course, I think depending on the internet to listen to music is foolish anyway but yeah.

well,i had it on vita for over a year.never had any problems and i really liked the offline mode.As it works on the vita it should be easy to fix it for ps4.
The selection is ca 80-90% of the songs i'm searching but i don't know wether this is bad or good compared to others,though i suppose that noone offers you 100%..
Right now no problem as thete is enough music for me to listen for the next years anyway and after i listened i can change to another music stream
service.
My main complain is that there is no back/forward button+ the search engine is pretty intolerant.
if you spell something wrong you may get 0 results.

The only real problem i have is that suddenly it became impossible to pay with psn cards for the subscription.Seems you'd have to have a credit card.
imoa very stupid decision by sony just makes them loose costumers especially as everything else in the psn store can be paid with psn card money-why not music unlimited?

The PS4 app is pretty bad but the iPhone, PS3 and Vita versions are great. I rarely am unable to find music that I am interested in. I love this service

Yes the UI can be better. And I hope they will fix this for ps4 because the concept is really sweet.

bold: I think they're doing this so they can autmaticly extend the subscription. You can disable this by going to the stor or something. Dunno with psn cards, haven't used them since 2011.
