That's a long time. I can see that they want to release it right before christmas kicks in, but it will give Sony a serious footing.

The demand for a next gen isn't the same in all countries...

If five of your friends already have a PS4 and no one owns an Xbox One, imagine if you were to buy one of them just for Fifa or Cod (here in Norway this is pretty common). You would normally go with the one your (fifa and cod playing) friends have. The delay to next year is going to hurt them, I am however not sure if this delay (from spring or so to christmas) is going to hurt them that much. Releasing closely to the christmas isn't a bad idea.

Considering how well Sony is supplying the periferal countries (yes, this is a irony) there is not to be fear.

However, a Q3 is realy weird, damand in NA and EU won´t be that high for the first 2Q, no much more than 500K a month. They can produce a lot more than that as this hollyday supply has proved.

And just let me get back at some of our previous rumors.

Rumor 1 - Party Chat is broken and will take months to fixed.
Reality: Party Chat is just not as intuitive to use as in the 360.

Rumor 2 - Interface is sluggshed with terrible performance.
Reality: Interface works just as advertised, only with some dificulty to understand a few commands in few situations.

Rumor 3 - Yelds Issues, Xone will have a severely shortage for months.
Reality: The only console that appers to have shotage is the PS4, and with sales not as espetacular as some belived.

Hahahahahahaha!  Some people...

denialists everywhere in here xD

bad news for xbone. continues to seal its own defeat

Party chat doesnt even work cross game anymore, its a big step backwards, no where near as good as on 360, Vita or PS4. They will fix it tho im sure.

Indeed that is why PS3 lost in Europe, all the gamers were playing COD/fifa on the Xbox 360, that delay of 16 months for the launch of PS3 and a higher pricer tag really killed any chance the ps3 had in Europe.

Anyway it is going to be about your friends playing Killzone/Halo 5 and you want to play with them. If this gen continues like it is going to be I expect many will end up with a PS4/xbox one.

That's true, but I think Microsoft are gonna use that stock on the countries where the demand is really high, so overall it won't affect them that much, also because the new gen will proably be another years long cycle, personally I'd rather buy the console I prefer instead of my friends deciding which one I should get, if they don't like waiting for it, then that's a loss to them, not me.

stop throwing the word yield around in each thread as if its the new messiah

Producing less units then a competitor doesn't mean there is a yield issue...

The current insane demand, that is bigger then the supply, isn't a yield issue...

Who are we kidding here sweden, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, Belgium are around 40 million inhabitants combine.... those country while relevant are anything but major countries when it comes to market shares or even brand value globally.... they'd be better off releasing in India and not at all in those countries even with the poverty level you have over there....

And please with the Xbox defeat that's just uber lolable... they are doing just fine and won't have anything remotely comparable with the struggle of the ps3 last gen.... if Xbox one is a defeat ps3 even with current numbers was a catastrophe in comparison....

Bottom line I have mine and I am pleased with it which really is all that matters to me as a customer

Russia, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark are more than 160 million inhabitants combined or that is saying that the UK + France + Spain market is not important.

This statement is very funny in hindsight....
