The Miiverse looks like a bit of a clusterfuck in my opinion (just checking it out now)

This happened a few times for me too, probably because so many people are updating at the same time, just keep trying you'll get lucky.

Strange, apparently you can post on other peoples' posts as well. I'm not sure why so many people complained about the 3DS Miiverse. I think the only real thing missing here would be the friend system, which is a downer but it wasn't as bad as people made it seem.

I think the missing feature is direct (and private) messages to other users.
