Normally I ignore what gaf says, but they are having an uproar with pachters numbers, like the wii u numbers are real/ They do realize its just a guess right? Like an educated guess in which he is never really right? im just baffled by their reaction

The numbers are bad for Nintendo. Gaf, to my knowledge, isn't big on Nintendo. Hence, bashing opportunities.

b/c thats what they do, they only use real documented data as sales npd, media create ect and as of right now thats all thats been released

Pachter's numbers ARE based on sampling of retail stores. They're too close to be just a guess.

So basically they do what VGC does. If you disagree with this you have to disagree that VGC is meaningful as well.

i do, they get things considerably wrong all the time. Those GTA V numbers werent even close

You know what? It's getting rather ridiculous.

Yes, the system is performing quite horribly, but it seems that most people (especially over at GAF) just love to repeat the same doom and gloom over and over again.

Every Wii U topic seems to have the same chart which compares it with GC, DC, etc. And when it's something so trivial like Pachter's prediction, they make a big deal out of it again.

Personally, I don't think the numbers will be that low, but even if it is, let's just end all those endless and somewhat nonsensical discussions with a simple RIP.
