ps4 seems like a better choice 4 me. Is cheaper, more powerful, that issue about second-screen isnt a requierement for the system (so isnt a con) and for the long run, ps4 will have a lot more of exclusive content (in the gaming department).

Plus: The value of psn+ is insane

Fair point, although with all the studios Microsoft is building up lately, I wouldn't say the last bit of this sentence is a certainty just yet.

That is certainly true, but Microsoft's Games with Gold is soon launching on the One, and I'd say they'll be trying to constantly one-up each other there.

Games with gold program  has been a no no for a while, so i disagre... I hope to be wrong with x1

Its in the 1st year, PS+ first year wasn't anything to marvel at either.

If you can't decide just buy Wii U. Or perhaps Sega Saturn? There are a lot of good consoles out there.

He already has a Wii U

As far as the new consoles are concerned, they're both essentially starting over.  The 360 version was usually older games, it's true, but since the service is starting so soon on the XBone that won't really be an option for them.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Tag, courtesy of fkusumot: "Why do most of the PS3 fanboys have avatars that looks totally pissed?"
"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

...in the second sentence of the OP I said I already have a Wii U...

XBone:

Pros:

  • The cable box functionality and Snap features seem handy, especially the ease with which you can Skype someone on your TV.

I see from your profile that you live in Canada. I'm not 100% sure of this, but the cable box functionality may not be supported yet in Canada by the cable/satellite TV companies. You may want to do some research on this if it is a big Pro for you.

Ooooh, good call--looks like Canada doesn't have it yet.  Strange--even Nintendo had cable support at launch here with Nintendo TVii o.O

Thanks for the constructive feedback, everyone :)

PS4 obviously

Sony supports its console until the end
Exclusives are more diversfied (and better quality for me)

And MS tried to install very bad things (to stay polite) to us, so bye bye

+ all pros* you said at first post, no need to repeat

Both are really cool, but, if the PS4 is cheaper, I guess that is the best option for you. However, I got the One and the Kinect 2.0 is really good if you like workout videos, it is really impressive and the workout programs are free.
But, as a video game only, I would get the cheaper one.
Down on the road Sony will have the amazing exclusives too. So...

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

You've listed more cons about the Xbone. So i say follow your heart and go for the PS4. If you have the money in the future, you can get the Xbone as well :)
