Not suprising, Xbone is too expensive.

That's besides the point. If your logic was correct the WiiU would've sold much better or the PS3 wouldn't have catched up to the 360.

That's beside the point. Nintendo has several issues with WiiU, they lost a lot of core gamers in the past generations and casuals don't see much of a difference in Wii and WiiU. And PS3 catched up in Europe, not in US. Europe was, is and will ever be Playstation territory, perhaps beside UK. Leave aside that many sales also came from Japan, where 360 is close to non-existant - so much for the catch-up.

VGChartz, BF polls, and Sony WW numbers, and anedoctal PS4 shortages.

If Pachter gives PS4 in US at 1,7m there is only 400k left for Europe and rest of the World.

?

He is saying 1.25m for PS4 like VGC.

Oups, worst in fact.

So, XOne sould 500k first week in US and 500K WW? And then at Black Friday only 250K?

Not very likelly.

200K or 300K is possible.

Seems to me there is a good chance x1 is over tracked. MS announced the numbers way too fast.

Who says the Xbone doesn't have issues as well then? You are quick to point to the price being the differentiator, but you don't know that. Also the Playstation being more popular in Europe has nothing to do with price. Again you are pointing to the price solely, which has nothing to do geography,

Of course there is a relation. Would people spend much money for something they don't know or like? Of course not. PS3 had good sales also right from the start. Not fantastic but still quite good, because people know Sony and didn't really care for the price. 360 sold especially because of price advantage. Other points are just opinions, one could also argue PS4 has problems (which they really have).

I don't say it's *only* price but it is defintely a heavy advantage.
