well Wii U has only been out about a year and already has a lot of good exclusives and several good 3rd party games. 3DS has more to offer right now because its been out since early 2011. so for now i'll say wii u is better for how long its been out and how it already has amazing titles.

Because Nintendo dominates in the handheld market. From 1996-2013, 75% of Nintendo's consoles didn't/aren't currently dominating the console market.

And Home console is dominated by Sony and microsoft with their matured content but Nintendo is trying with kid like games wtih Wii U. Nintendo has no direct competition in Handhels as they are going unique way with their games and its visuals.



GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

Or people just want to play games, and so when it comes to Nintendo games, they're taking to the cheapest route to be able to play those games a.k.a. 3DS.
